Out of my three daughters EmilyKate (17), Molly (15) and Georgia (14), two of them compete or have competed in Pedigree Junior Handlers and Dogs NSW Junior Handlers.

EmilyKate has been involved in the dog world since she was little. Although we lived in Queensland until she was 10, just after her 7th birthday we travelled to NSW so that Emily could compete in her first Junior Handler. So in October 1998, at Inverell EmilyKate competed in her first Junior handlers with her dog Princess the toy poodle. They walked away with a 1st and a 3rd and haven't looked back.

In the 2005/2006 year of the Pedigree Junior Handler Competition, EmilyKate not only placed first in Seniors in her first ever Pedigree State Final under Carol Wright (Vic), she went to win the State Final and represent New South Wales at the Pedigree Junior Handler National final.

At the National Final, held at Spring Fair in Sydney 2006 in 40 Degree heat, Emily went to be awarded Runner-up in all of Australia (under Steve Greer).

Emily did not actively compete in the 2006/2007 Pointscore competition due to the high cost of fuel and the fact that 90% of the heats were conducted in Sydney and it simply wasnt affordable to compete.

2008 was Emily's last year in Handlers [and although she had still a year to compete during 2009 she had proved everything she had wanted and chose to retire] and she finshed the year with a

• Second Place in the Senior Class Pedigree State Final.
• Shortlisted in the Dogs NSW Handler Final. (in which there were 26 handlers and only one other who used a toy breed)
• Numerous 1st's both Dogs NSW Heats with various breeds.
• Placings in Pedigree Heats.

Georgia has not comepeted quite as much as her older sister but she is as equal as good a handler as EmilyKate and on two occasions has beaten her. Georgia frequently handles "Bad Alice" in junior handlers and in the near future she will begin to handle a Whippet in juniors.

In 2008 Georgia, while competing against Emily managed to

• Gain numerous First places in DogsNSW Handlers
• Placings in Pedigree Heats.

 The next few years will see Georgia compete a little more but both girls enjoy All-Breeds more then the Junior Handlers scene.
