Hugo is one of those once in a life time dogs. A canine who flares into someone's life like a firework burst, the force of him so brilliant and blinding they are left gazing after him long after he has gone. He turns heads and has quite a following around the show ring. He is a show man and works tirelessly - it is an off day when Hugo isn't out there showing his heart out. Above all else, he is EmilyKate's heart dog, her best friend. He is the little colored dog who sits on her knee when she is sad, who kept her company long nights when studying for the HSC. He is the one who inspires her. In 2010, Hugo has been shown very lightly - Emily's committments to life and various other reasons have seen him enter the ring infrequently. However, he is still the dog to beat and has proven time and time again that he is the best of the best. The highlights of Hugo's career have included... BEST OF BREED CANBERRA ROYAL SHOW 2009/2010 12 Best Exhibit in Group/Group 1 Awards Countless Class in Show and Class in Group awards. Perhaps, best of all these accolades was the recent attainment of his GRAND CHAMPION TITLE
